2026년 7월 26일부터 30일까지 캐나다에서 개최되는 IAPB 2026의 초록 접수가 1월 12일부로 마감되었습니다.

이번 학회는 초록 제출 후 등록을 진행하는 방식으로 운영되어,

이로 인해 일부 국내 연구자들께서 초록 제출 마감 기한을 놓치는 상황이 발생하였습니다.

이에 한국식물생명공학회는 IAPB 2026 사무국과 협의를 진행하였으며,

국내 연구자들의 초록을 학회 사무국에서 이메일로 취합한 후 IAPB 2026 사무국에 전달하기로 하였습니다.

회원 여러분의 이해를 돕기 위하여 IAPB 2026에서 안내한 초록 제출 가이드라인을 아래에 함께 안내드리며,

초록 작성을 위한 abstract template도 첨부해드립니다.

• 제출 마감: 2026년 2월 19일(월) 오후 11시까지

• 제출 이메일: kspbt2@gmail.com(초록 누락 방지를 위해 접수 완료 확인 메일을 발송해 드릴 예정입니다. 2월 20일 오전 10시까지 확인 메일을 받지 못하신 경우, 사무국으로 연락해 주시기 바랍니다.)

이미 공식 마감 기한이 지난 이후에 추가로 초록을 취합하여 전달하는 절차인 만큼,

2월 19일 오후 11시 이후에 접수된 초록은 부득이하게 접수해 드리기 어려운 점 너그러운 양해를 부탁드립니다.

IAPB 2026에서 제시한 초록 제출 기준은 아래와 같습니다.

Submission Guidelines

• All abstracts must be submitted via the Online Submission Portal no later than January 12, 2026.
• Abstracts must be submitted in English Only.
• Abstracts submitted must contain original work and must not have been published previously or presented at a meeting of another national or international scientific organization prior to this meeting.
• Use a structured layout for the abstract including the following headings (e.g. Background, Conclusion, etc.)
• The title should clearly indicate the subject and purpose of the material presented.
• List presenting author first and in all capital letters. If there is more than one affiliation, they should be noted by superscript numbers after their name.
• List complete affiliations with addresses. Superscript numbers are required for 2 or more affiliations. For 3 or more affiliations, place a semicolon (;) between affiliations. Include the word "and" before the last affiliation.
• Avoid phrases like ‘will be discussed.’ Identify animals, plants or other organisms involved and pertinent details needed to interpret the results. Do not use or cite figures, tables, or references. Limit the abstract itself to 1,800 characters (not including spaces)
• Standard abbreviations and acronyms may be used without prior definition, but all non-standard terms must be defined where first used in the text.
• Please check your abstract carefully; it will be published as submitted.
• Submission of an abstract indicates acceptance of and compliance with the abstract submission guidelines.
• No changes can be made to abstracts once the abstract submission deadline has passed.
• Presenting authors of accepted abstracts must be registered and paid participants. Registration must be received by the Secretariat by the Early Registration Deadline to ensure inclusion of the abstract in the meeting publications and in order to be scheduled for presentation.
• Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
• The Scientific Committee will determine the presentation type of each accepted abstract, with consideration given to the author’s preference. The committee’s decision is final.
• The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat.
